Styling a Cape

After receiving this gorgeous Peach Cape with a cute little Pom Pom Trim from the amazing online store - St Frock, I decided to use this post to see the many ways you can style a cape.

Obviously the first and easiest way is to wear as is. Paired with a light grey singlet dress, gold sandals and a little bowler hat, you will have the perfect ensemble for these warmer days fast approaching.

The second, very similar to the first, although arms out with it resting over your shoulders. A very chic look, and an way to dress the outfit up that little bit more from a beachy look to a perfect first-date look

Tying the knot is the third look for this versatile cape. When it's even warmer tie the cape around your waist, the perfect way to make your outfit pop, and if it gets cooler throughout the day you have the cape on standby to undo and wear as normal.

Back to front - slip it on backwards (like the old art smocks in year 3), then tie the bottom into a little knot. Paired with a big statement necklace, this
particular style creates a basic open back top.

Tying the sleeves around your neck, and the bottom of the top around your waist, the cape will fall nicely into a layered scarf. The perfect way to accessorize with a basic outfit.

The final look for this versatile cape is holding it in the same way as if you were to wear it normally, but instead tying the sleeves around the back of your neck. The cape will then be turned into a cute flowing vest.

So what are you waiting for? Head over to St Frock Online now, and purchase this gorgeous cape (which is a must have versatile wardrobe essential) !
