Style Lounge - Westfield Marion

Westfield Style Lounge; a place where you can go to get a style makeover, advise, or just a general understanding on what's in for this season. Book a 1, 2 or 3 hour session with one of their expert stylists, and finally figure out what colours and styles work for you.

On Thursday the 11th of September I was invited to attend Westfield Marion's Bloggers Event which was held within their gorgeous Style Lounge. The room itself has a modern glamour layout, with white and black being the base colours for both the walls and furniture, leaving you already feeling stylish and chic just by stepping inside.
 

The racks and cabinets were stacked with incredible pieces hand selected by Westfield Marion's four house stylists, Kara Fantasia, Damian Porcard, Samantha Dorning and Lauren Dilena (who unfortunately couldn't attend the event as she was hosting her own style session at Westfield Tea Tree Plaza)

The night started with champagne and appetisers along with incredible live entertainment. Instead of a DJ or a live band we witnessed artist Emma Hack paint a gorgeous pant and crop combo on model Bec Lawrence. It was definitely an amazing and unique contribution to the event, and a highlight of my night.

We were then walked through several different looks that we can expect to be big over SS14, and also a sneak peak into a few of the runway looks that were modelled at their Westfield Fashion Saturday SS14 Parades that following Saturday.

Pictured below is a few of my favourite looks that Kara and Damian presented to us. The first being Kara's 'Global Traveller' outfit. This boho festival look was a gorgeous combination of a playsuit, vest, floppy hat and bag all from Cotton On. Very simple and stylish, the pop of red with the tan accessories definitely gives you that exciting summer vibe.

Damian focussed on monochrome as a consistent element in his Spring/Summer outfits. White always gives that fresh crisp feel whenever its worn. The first outfit is a crop and skirt combo from Portmans. Very girly, very fresh, and perfect for any day this coming summer. The second outfit is a more casual style from Country Road, still with a white flowing skirt, but this time paired with a nautical stripe top. I instantly fell in love with this CR top and had to purchase it straight away for my own wardrobe. (Stripes are HUGE for SS14 so make sure to add them into your outfits)
