Variety on King William

On Friday the 17th of October, King William Road, Hyde Park hosted an incredible runway event to kick start the excitement for Adelaide Fashion Festival.

George Gross, Liza Emanuele and Harry Watt

Guests who purchased tickets to this gorgeous outdoor event were seated alongside the European inspired runway, where they enjoyed a delicious four course meal created by 6 of the amazing restaurants that can be found along King William Road.

As guests found their way to their tables media had the chance to be taken backstage where the models were having their final touches to their outfits before gracing the runway. We also went around to catering to see what behind the scenes looked like as they served up the first course of the day.

Denim & Cloth, Liza Emanuele, Move Over Menswear and Original Sin Lingerie, are only a few of the boutiques that came together to present the hottest looks for Spring/Summer 2014. Everything from casual, formal, shoes, accessories, children's wear and lingerie were covered in the parade, leaving guests excited to experiment with bold colours and prints this year.

Those who missed out on tickets to this years VOKW were still welcomed to come along to join in on the fun as all stores, cafes and restaurants were opened to shop and dine in.

All the gorgeous pieces and bright colours that were strutted down the runway were absolutely flawless, all adding their own different flare to what we can expect to see this SS14. However, the showstopper was definitely Liza Emanuele's gorgeous collection finishing the parade.

This event was definitely the perfect way to kick start the 2014 AFF, and left everyone craving the busy week and a half ahead of more exciting events.
